Alpha Kappa Alpha will take time to fellowship and form lifelong relationships based on affinity, love, trust, respect, and shared goals and interests, while building on our foundation to serve others.

 Initiative I. Empower Our Families

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated will take a multi-generational approach to families within our communities by addressing child hunger and promoting positive youth development and leadership, mental well-being, and senior life.

 

Initiative II. Build Our Economic Wealth

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated will emphasize financial planning, asset accumulation, and wealth building including savings and investments, managing debt, and improving credit.

Initiative III. Enhance Our Environment

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated will engage in activities to improve and protect the environment and promote the adoption of more sustainable and responsible practices.

Initiative IV. Advocate for Social Justice

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated hopes to provide communities with the tools, knowledge, and support to activate their voices and mobilize self-help to empower communities to help themselves.
